In the Monday edition of the
Wall Street Journal
Fund Track column, Katherine Wegert talks to
Darwei Kung and
Bill Chepolis, co-managers of the
DWS Enhanced Commodity Strategy Fund [
see profile]. The pub notes that the two are taking an uncommon approach to investing in commodities.
"We're finding a lot of interest in the space, but most people already own stock in the largest commodity companies," the WSJ quotes Kung as saying. "So, we wanted to do something different."
The two make use of swaps and futures contracts and also use bonds.
