Buddy Donohue is leaving his job as the head of the SEC's division of investment management next week, and one name that has cropped up as a possible interim replacement is Mary Schapiro's senior adviser
Jennifer McHugh,
InvestmentNews reports.
Donohue, who has been with the commission for four years and announced his resignation in August, will reportedly leave his post November 19.
McHugh is said to be a logical choice as an interim replacement for Donohue, given her resume that includes heading the SEC's study of fiduciary duty, which was required by Dodd-Frank.
