Scott Hayward has been named the chief executive officer of Quantitative Management Associates LLC, a quantitative public equity manager subsidiary of Prudential Investment Management.

Hayward reports to Dennis Kass, head of public equity for Prudential Investment Management. He had previously been serving as head of sales, marketing and client service for QMA and Prudential subsidiary Jennison.

QMA manages $46 billion in assets.
