Mackenzie Investment Management (TSE: MCI), the manager of 19 funds marketed in the U.S. under the Ivy Funds brand name, has launched a new series of international fund of funds, International Solutions.

Ivy Funds Set to Expand Sales Force

The five International Solutions funds will consist of investments in both Ivy Funds and non-affiliated funds. The non-affiliated funds have been selected for their experience in managing international assets and include Bankers Trust, Lazard Asset Management, Montgomery Asset Management, Scudder Funds and Warburg Pincus Funds

The product launch coincides with the expansion of Mackenzie's sales force to include 18 representatives, an increase of 10 field sales people who will sell all of the Ivy Funds in addition to International Solutions. The marketing and internal sales teams will also be expanded to support the new sales force.

"International Solutions could be considered one-stop shopping for international funds, and may provide a solution to the complex investment needs of many investors," said Michael G. Landry, president and chief executive officer.
