Mainstay Capital Management, the investment advisor for New York Life's MainStay Funds, has hired
John Flanagan as chief financial officer. He replaces
Anthony Polis who is no longer with Mainstay.
Until late last year, Flanagan worked at Milwaukee-based
Strong Capital Management where he held the title of senior vice president and treasurer. His position there was distributed among others at the company, the spokesperson said.
In his newly created position, Flanagan, 53, will be reporting directly to
Stephen Roussin, president and chief executive officer of MainStay.
