A new office at Invesco is being occupied by David Butcher who has been appointed head of defined contribution UK. This is a newly formed position within the existing UK division, a spokesperson for Invesco told the InvestmentWires.

Butcher formerly worked at Flemings in the UK as managing director of intermediary services and retail sales. In his new position Butcher will be reporting to Hubert L. Harris, CEO of retirement and benefit services.

"We feel Mr. Butcher's vast knowledge and experience in the pension and investment arena will be a tremendous benefit to Invesco as we continue to move forward in the is market," Harris said.
