Prudential International Investments has hired Anthony S. Wiseman as senior vice president and director of international investments marketing. Wiseman now runs the international marketing organization. He manages a global team of marketing representatives in Asia, Europe, and Latin America, who are responsible for offshore mutual funds and the company's asset allocation products.

Wiseman will also build up a marketing team to support the firm's offshore products. He is based in Newark, New Jersey, and reports to Stephen Pelletier, Executive Vice President and Director of Prudential International Investments, who is also based in Newark.

"The expansion of our already strong international presence is one of our key strategic initiatives for 1999, and we have set ambitious goals both in product development and product delivery that require extraordinary talent," said Pelletier. "Tony's proven leadership and experience will be a tremendous asset to us."

Prior to joining Prudential, Wiseman most recently served as managing director for Merrill Lynch Asset Management (MLAM) International, where he was responsible for new business initiatives, product positioning and relationship management for offshore mutual funds.
