Turner Investment Partners is movin' and shakin'. The Berwyn, Philidelphia-based company said today that it would be promoting three staff members to senior management positions.
Stephen Kneeley, 36, chief operating officer, was promoted to president of the firm.
Mark Turner, 41, president and senior portfolio manager, was named vice chairman. And
Thomas Trala Jr., 33, chief financial officer, was appointed as treasurer of the board of directors.
Kneeley and Turner will report to
Robert Turner, chairman and chief investment officer. Trala will report to Kneeley.
A spokesperson for the company said,"We have been gradually hiring people. In the past year we went from 40 to 50 employees and I would think that would continue."
Assets under management have also increased significantly. In the past two months, the company's funds have grown to $900 million from $700 million.
The company has increased marketing significantly and had good performance in its mutual funds, the spokesperson said, leading to the rapid expansion of the company.
