Viewers of the television drama "The West Wing" will be constantly reminded of their nationality tonight, as
American Century Funds will debut its new advertising campaign during the political drama, with each new ad featuring the tagline "American" followed by "Dream" in one ad and "Optimism" in another.
The campaign will spotlight two of the firm's products -- the
American Century Ultra and
International Growth funds.
While the ads debut tonight, they will also run during the upcoming NCAA basketball tournament, and during various prime-time network shows, cable programs and
sporting events. The television spots will be supported by print ads in financial, business and lifestyle publications.
