From Wall Street Journal
The publication examines two different funds at Neuberger and Berman and how their managers must pursue completely different strategies. Michael Malouf, who runs a small company growth portfolio, must buy stocks to keep up with the nearly $4 million investors place in his fund daily.

MetLife keeps on keepin' on
From Crain's New York
The firm plans to continue with its IPO despite an anticipated lackluster performance due to a depressed life insurance industry and lack of zeal for the deal. The number of shares and the price of those shares will be reduced.

Vanguard's New Offering
From DowJones.com
The firm famous for its index funds will soon be launching its own version of exchange-traded funds (ETFs), according to Vanguard watchers. ETFs are lures to investors because they offer lower expenses, tax advantages and greater trading flexibility. Barclays will be launching over 40 ETFs in the next three months, and State Street already managers 11.
