Gavin Quill joined Boston's
Financial Research Corporation (FRC) early last month as executive vice president of research after fourteen years of employment at
Scudder Kemper
Investments.
For thirteen years, Quill was vice president of global cross business development at the Boston fund company -- for the last year he has been working with Scudder as president of
Quill Consulting, working on a project examining its mutual fund reporting processes.
Quill is now working on several more long-term research projects for FRC, including the future of exchange-traded funds, the cost structure of wholesale distributed funds, and the future of tax-managed funds. He reports directly to
Neil Bathon, president of FRC.
