ING is adding the Invesco VIF Leisure Fund to its variable annuity lines. The fund will be part of both the ING Golden Select and the ING SmartDesign variable annuities. The firm added the fund to broaden the range of investments it offers.

The deal should add significant distribution for the portfolio as ING is the fourth largest provider of variable annuities.

"Stocks in the leisure sector may offer refuge in both slowing and growing economies," explained Tom Kolbe, national sales manager at Invesco Funds Group. He noted that the fund is broadly diversified for a sector fund. Mark Greenberg manages the fund portfolio.
