M&A

On July 3, Amundi acquired Pioneer Investments, a group of asset management companies located around the world. Pioneer is now an indirectly owned subsidiary of Amundi. Prior to this transaction, Pioneer Investments was owned by Pioneer Global Asset Management S.p.A..

Subadvisors

On July 3, the shareholders of the Strategic Advisors Core Multi-Manager Fund approved new subadvisory agreements with FIAM LLC and Geode Capital Management LLC.

Fund Updates

On July 3, Zurich American Life Insurance Company made a buy back offer that offers to buy back peoples' Farmers Variable Annuity I Contracts. The offer lasts until October 31, 2017.

On July 14, the Wells Fargo Dow Jones Target Today Fund will become the Wells Fargo Target Today Fund.

Strategies

On July 3, AMFs' Ultra Short Mortgage Fund revised its investment strategy. It now primarily invests in investments that are guaranteed and issued by the U.S. Government or their affiliated agencies. It will also invest in repurchasing agreements that are backed by government agencies such as mortgage-backed investments.

On September 1, the MML Equity Income Fund will change its investment strategy and primarily invest in common stocks with an emphasis on large capitalization companies that have a strong track record of paying dividends or the fund's subadvisors.

Terminations

On August 31, the AMG Trilogy Global Equity Fund will liquidate. On July 5, the fund has begun selling its investments and converting them into cash and cash equivalents.
