The Investment Company Institute's (ICI's) 2018 Tax and Accounting Conference continues today at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego. Keynote speakers will include: Morgan Hounsel, analyst and columnist for the Wall Street Journal and Motley Fool; Susan Olson, general counsel for the ICI; and Stephen Young, senior partner at Insight Education Systems. The conference continues through Wednesday. On Wedensday, the Financial Planning Association (FPA) team will kick off their 2018 Annual Conference at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago. Keynote speakers will include: Ron Carson, founder and CEO of Carson Group; Daniel Crosby, president of Nocturne Capital; Joe Davis, principal and global chief economist at Vanguard; and Robyn Scott, actor.

On Thursday morning, Pageant Media's Fund Intelligence team will host a breakfast briefing on "Blurring lines and getting deeper with your distributors." The event will be held at the Lambs Club in New York City and will feature remarks from: Rocco Benedetto, senior vice president and head of the broker-dealer channel at OppenheimerFunds; Jillian DelSignore, executive director and head of ETF distribution at J.P. Morgan Asset Management; and Estee Jimerson, managing director and head of asset manager distribution and engagement at Envestnet. Paul McMillan, head of editorial content at Fund Intelligence, will moderate the discussion.

Also on Thursday, Neil Bathon and his Fuse Research Network team will host their fifth annual FUSE Forum, again at the Harvard Club of Boston. Also on Thursday, SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce will deliver a keynote speech at the 2018 ISDA Annual North America Conference at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York City.

On Thursday night, Pageant's Fund Intelligence team will host their 2018 Mutual Fund Services and Technology Awards. The reception, dinner, and awards ceremony will all be held at the Lotte New York Palace in New York City.
