Broadridge Financial Solutions and NewRiver are jointly pitching a summary prospectus solution to fund firms. The offering brings together Lake Success, New York-based Broadridge's inventory, print, fulfillment and householding capabilities with Andover, Massachusetts-based NewRiver's electronic database.

"By combining the advanced technology solutions of Broadridge and NewRiver, we can provide a comprehensive summary prospectus solution that will require mutual fund companies only to file their summary prospectuses with the SEC’s EDGAR system, and Broadridge will manage the rest of the process,” Gerard Scavelli, president of mutual funds solutions at Broadridge, said in the news release.

The companies have created a new Web site for the collaborative effort at SummaryProspectus.com.
