An October 2 shareholder meeting concerning Janus Capital Group's proposal to merge two of its funds was adjourned until October 26, according to an SEC filing.

The Denver-based fund firm plans to merge the Janus Olympus Fund into the Janus Orion Fund. The board of trustees of Janus Investment Fund approved the reorganization plan in July.

Janus has retained proxy solicitation firm D.F. King to help shareholders with the voting process.
