Mutual fund executives are not convinced that fees will curb all market timers.
The AP reports that a new study commissioned by PFPC found that while 84 percent of fund board directors and executives said they believe that short-term redemption fees would effectively curb short term trading, 69 percent of board members and 55 percent of fund company executives said they think that some die-hards would still engage in the practice.
