The fund gatekeeper at Merrill Lynch is moving on next year. Erin Donnelly will leave her post as head of global funds and insured solutions in early 2011, Merrill Lynch spokeswoman Selena Morris confirmed to The MFWire.com.

"Erin will remain in her role until early next year," Morris said. "We are actively searching for a replacement."

Donnelly has been with Merrill since 1996.
