Dan Jamieson, formerly a senior reporter at InvestmentNews, is moving to Financial Advisor Magazine as an editor-at-large.

Jamieson tweeted out on Saturday that he has a new gig.

At InvestmentNews, Jamieson covered investment advisors, the brokerage industry, regulation, and anything else advisors might want to know about. He was still writing for the publication as late as last Thursday.

InvestmentNews lost another head honcho this past July when Jim Pavia left for CNBC. At that time, MFWire reported Pavia, who worked as editor of the publication for more than nine years and as editorial director for about one year, had joined CNBC as a senior editor-at-large.
