Appointment: Jeff Maggioncalda

Maggioncolda was appointed CEO of Coursera, an education focused online technology platform. Maggioncolda is going to replace Rick Levin who is going to be transitioning into the senior advisor role. Maggioncolda was previously the founding CEO and President of Financial Engines, a fintech company.

Company: State Street Global Advisors

Appointment: Kathryn Sweeney

Sweeney was appointed head of SPDR Americas Institutional sales. She will be responsible for defining and leading the execution of the SPDR Americas Institutional sales strategy in the Americas as well as collaborating with the Americas Institutional Client Group (ICG) in order to drive up ETF sales with asset owners.

Company: Polen Capital Management LLC

Appointment: Tucker Welsh

Tucker Walsh as been appointed head of the Small Company Growth Team for Polen Capital's new U.S. Small Company Growth Strategy Portfolio in Boston. Walsch has over 25 years of experience with small cap portfolios; prior to joining Polen, Walsh spent ten years as CEO and Head of Portfolio Management at Copper Rock Capital Partners.

Company: American Century Investments

Exit: Scott Whittman
Appointment: Rich Weiss and Vinod Chandrashekaran

Whittman, CIO of the Multi-Asset Strategy Portfolios and the Disciplined Equity Portfolio from American Century, will leave the company at the end of the month. He will be replaced by current SVP of the Multi-Asset Strategy team, Weiss, and current PM and director of quantitative research of the Disclipined Equity team, Chandrashekaran. Weiss will be promoted to CIO of the Multi-Asset team while Chandrashekaran will become the new CIO of the Disciplined Equity team.
