Monday, July 18, 2005 Putnam's Former CIO Joins Fund of Fund Shop Ex-Putnam head of investments Steve Oristaglio has joined fund-of-hedge funds firm Gottex Fund Management. The former managing director at Putnam joins the Lausanne, Switzerland-headquartered alternative investment firm as chief executive officer of Structured Products. Oristaglio will also be a member of the firm's executive committee. Gottex Fund Management has more than $5 billion in assets under management. Putnam announced in February that Oristaglio would retire sometime in 2005. Kevin Cronin, deputy head of investments, took over the role.
