The company has created a new unit that will provide integrated wealth management services, such as asset management, banking, trust and advanced financial planning. The new unit, Cedar Street Advisors, will be headed by new hire Gregg W. George, who joins M&I from Goldman Sachs high-net-worth subsidiary The Ayco Company. George reports to Ken Krei, president and chief executive officer of M&I Trust and senior vice president of M&I Corp. "The introduction of Cedar Street Advisors is a crucial new business area for us and a logical extension of the wealth management services that M&I already provides to a wide range of individual and institutional clients," said Krei, in a statement.
