Wednesday, April 12, 2006 Putnam Names Head of European Distribution Putnam Investments has tapped Joseph Phoenix to spearhead the Boston-headquartered firm's distribution efforts in Europe. He reports to Jeffrey Peters, managing director, head of Putnam's Alliance Business. "Putnam continues to make inroads in Europe," Peters said. "This appointment is another example of our commitment to clients in this marketplace." Phoenix, a 19-year industry veteran, will be based in Putnam's London office. Most recently, Phoenix was managing director, regional director for the central region at Putnam Retail Management.
