Friday, April 28, 2006 Morgan Stanley Merging Funds Morgan Stanley will be merging its Morgan Stanley Growth Fund with its Morgan Stanley American Opportunities Fund, contingent on shareholder approval. The move was approved by the firm's board of trustees on Tuesday and announced in a regulatory filing Wednesday. The reorganization would see holders of the Growth Fund have their shares replaced with same-class shares of equal value in the American Opportunities Fund. Combined, the two funds hold about $3.75 billion in assets. Printed from: MFWire.com/story.asp?s=11722 Copyright 2006, InvestmentWires, Inc. All Rights Reserved |
