GE Asset Management Picks New CEO

General Electric Asset Management president and CEO John Myers will retire July 1, after nearly 37 years at GE, the company announced Monday.

Ronald R. Pressman -- chairman, president, and CEO of GE Insurance Solutions -- has been named to succeed Myers. Pressman has worked at GE for 26 years, leading GE Capital Real Estate and GE Power Systems’product businesses and technology programs. He also previously served as CEO of GE Power Systems Europe and as general manager of GE’s central and eastern European operations.

GE Asset Management has 500 employees and manages $200 billion in assets, including $71 billion in DB and DC plans.
