Friday, May 26, 2006 First Cloud for Silver ETF The only silver ETF hit its first snag this week, reported Reuters. iShares Silver Trust had been surging since its late April launch, with 3 to 4 million ounces of the metal added daily to its stores, but holdings as of Wednesday were 2.5 million ounces behind their peak so far. Analysts are blaming the same spooks -- interest rates and inflation -- for a wave of liquidation in both commodities and equities markets globally.
