Thursday, June 1, 2006 Merrill Manager Makes Jump To Oppenheimer New York-based OppenheimerFunds has hired Ron Zibelli as vice president and portfolio manager of the $840 million Oppenheimer Discovery Fund, according to a news release. Zibelli, a 20-year industry veteran, was most recently a managing director and small cap growth team leader at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers. Two senior analysts who worked with Zibelli at Merrill, Justin Livengood and Mary Dugan Sheridan, have also made the move to Oppenheimer.
