Friday, June 16, 2006 BlackRock and Forward Veteran Goes Hedge A San Francisco-based hedge fund manager has successfully courted a mutual fund industry veteran to be its managing director and head of distribution and product management. JMP Asset Management announced Friday that Richard Duff has come on board to develop new fund products and institutional distribution channels. Duff comes fresh from three years as a managing director and co-head of the private client group at BlackRock. He's also served as managing director and director of sales at Forward Management, senior vice president and national sales manager at Nicholas Applegate Capital Management, and senior investment officer in equity strategy at Pacific Income Advisers.
