Massachusetts Firms Launch Wireless Program

Blackberry users, you're in luck. Yet another service is becoming available to the users of the popular wireless devices, thanks to Pyxis Mobile Inc. and Capital Fulfillment Group (CFG). The two companies announced Monday the launch of a new partnership, their mPlatform Alliance (mPA).

Pyxis Mobile president and CEO Shane Hughes described the move as a way for the Waltham, Massachusetts-based wireless software provider to adapt to new consumer demand for wireless products.

"We want to ensure our solutions support all the functional needs of the mobile financial professional," Hughes said in the release. "We can best achieve this by partnering with other financial software and service providers to drive deeper into the unique workflows within the financial services industry."

CFG president and CEO Ric McConkey's reasons for the move echoed Hughes'.

"We wanted to select a partner who could enhance our clients' user experience and grow with our aggressive business plans," McConkey stated. "By partnering with Pyxis Mobile, we gain access to a robust wireless solution that is customized to meet the exact needs of our customers."
