Wealthy Fund Investors Find Your Branding Less Than Cogent


Despite their high profits, fund firms are doing a poor job of building a lasting relationship with customers. Today, the WSJ's Fund Track column picks up research from Cogent Research which found that only one-third of top fund firms have "meaningful customer loyalty." That short list, says Cogent's Chris Brown, includes Vanguard, American Funds and a handul of other firms selling through intermediaries.
