Thursday, March 22, 2007 Sandy West Gets Director of Membership Spot at ICI The Investment Company Institute's Sandra J. West has been promoted to director of membership for the Washington, D.C.- based group. In this newly-created positon, West will be responsible for member outreach, recruitment and retension as well as new member orientations and site visits. In addition, she will be the principal liaison to senior executives at member firms and continue to oversee planning for the institute's annual General Membership meeting, held in May. West will report directly to ICI's chief operating officer, Peter H. Gallary. West joined ICI in 1986 as the director of investor research.
