Gabelli Up By Leaps and Bounds


The New York Times reports that Mario J. Gabelli chairman of his own mutual fund company, Gamco Investors, is the highest paid executive of any Wall St. firm. In 2006 he received $58.2 million in compensation, topping even Goldman chief, Lloyd C. Blankfein, who received $54.7 million.
