Harbor Funds Picks New Subadvisor For Large Cap Value Fund

The Harbor Funds Board of Trustees has chosen Cohen & Steers Capital Management, Inc., as subadvisor to the Harbor Large Cap Value Fund, effective June 19. New York City-based Cohen & Steers replaces Armstrong Shaw Associates Inc., which had served as subadvisor since September 20, 2001.

Richard E. Helm, a senior vice president at Cohen & Steers, will be the lead portfolio manager of the fund, which had net assets of about $741 million at the end of May.

A spokesperson for Toledo, Ohio-based Harbor Funds was not immediately available to provide further details.
