Friday, August 10, 2007 Afternoon Stock Report Finds Some Fund Firms Making Gains This afternoon, fund firms recouped some of the day's earlier losses, still only one of the eight biggest losers of the morning is reporting a gain. As of 12:55, BlackRock's shares gained 0.24 percent. Among fund firms, Eaton Vances's shares went lower than this morning, dropping an extra 0.6 percent for a total of 2.1 percent. Invesco's shares, were the biggest loser of the afternoon, down 2.2 percent. Shares of AllianceBernstein, Federated Investors, Calamos Investments, U.S. Global Investors, SEI, GAMCO, Legg Mason and Integrity Mutual Funds are still in positive territory.
