SEC Appoints New Surveillance Chief

The SEC has named its new chief of the Office of Market Surveillance. The WSJ reports that Mark Lineberry, a former branch chief, will be the successor to Joe Cella, who stepped down in February of this year. Lineberry will take the task of investigating insider trading and other market no-nos.
