WMSI CEO Takes a Starring Role at BFDS

Jude Metcalfe is no longer the CEO of Wealth Management Systems Inc. (WMSI). Metcalfe stepped down from the IRA rollover specialist in late August to take a senior role at Boston Financial Data Services (BFDS). Mecalfe's move was first reported by 401kWire.com. He started at BFDS on Tuesday.

A spokesperson for Quincy, Massachusetts-based BFDS was not able to comment. BFDS is a joint venture between DST and State Street.

WMSI tapped its chief operating officer John Geli to replace Metcalfe. Meanwhile, WMSI president and board chairman Tom Loch's position remains unchanged, while BJ Ralston has been named senior vice president and chief administrative officer.

"I've taken WMSI to a good place," Metcalfe said in an interview with 401kWire. "I've taken it to where I needed to take it. This great opportunity came along and I feel it's time to move on."

Metcalfe had served as WMSI's CEO for four years. Prior to that he held senior positions at Mellon HR Solutions and in Fidelity's retirement division, Boston Financial, Kwasha Lipton, Prudential Securities and Bank of New York.
