Fido Racks Up $660K Lobbying Tab for the First Half of 2007

Fidelity must have a lot of things on its lawmaker wish list. The Boston Globe reports that the mutual fund giant spent $660,000 to lobby the federal government in the first half of 2007. Some issues that Fidelity paid lobbyists to bring up were data privacy, identity theft, mutual fund regulations, pension regulations, and tax legislation.
