As reported yesterday in our sister publication (see; "QDIA is Here: Did Stable Value Make the Cut?" The 401kWire, October 22, 2007, separate login required), stable value funds will not be given full QDIA protections under the finalized rules. The new version of the rules will be published in the Federal Register on Wednesday, and will take effect on December 23.
