Report: Fink Officially Offered Top Merrill Job


Merrill Lynch has offered BlackRock chief Larry Fink the CEO position vacated by Stan O'Neal, CNBC is reporting. Sources told the news organization that Fink will take the next two weeks to ponder the offer. One problem with Fink's candidacy, postulates CNBC, is that he owns a stake in BlackRock, creating a possible conflict of interest because Merrill sells BlackRock funds .
