Wednesday, November 21, 2007 Nuveen's New Owner Gets Two New Chiefs John Canning has stepped down from his post of CEO at Madison Dearborn Partners, new owner of Nuveen Investments. The Chicago Sun-Times reports that Canning, 63, will remain as chairman of the board. Succeeding Canning at the CEO position are Paul Finnegan and Samuel Mencoff who will reign as co-CEOs.
