First Trust Adds an ETF to the Amex


The First Trust Dow Jones Global Select Dividend Index Fund has begun trading on the Amex. The new fund is First Trust's 29th fund listed on the exchange.


The American Stock Exchange® (Amex®) today announced that it has launched trading in the First Trust Dow Jones Global Select Dividend Index Fund (Amex: FGD) by First Trust Advisors L.P. (First Trust).

FGD seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield, before fees and expenses, of the Dow Jones Global Select Dividend Index which is a dividend weighted index of 100 stocks selected from the Dow Jones World Index and includes high-dividend yielding companies covering approximately 95% of the underlying market capitalization of countries determined by Dow Jones & Company, Inc.
