Monday, January 14, 2008 GAMCO Loses its Top Legal Eagle GAMCO Investors may be in the hunt for a new general counsel. James McKee, vice president and general counsel, at GAMCO Investors, parent company of Gabelli Funds, is leaving his post next week. According to an SEC filing dated January 14, McKee informed GAMCO management that he will resign effective January 24. A spokesperson for GAMCO was not immediately available to comment on McKee's future plans or on whether a replacement has been named.
