Friday, February 29, 2008 Wells Fargo Reports Money Market Fund Loss Yet another firm is reporting money market mutual fund troubles. Reuters reports that in its annual report filed with the SEC, Wells Fargo & Co said it has seen a $39 million loss in its money market funds, due to loss of value in complex debt instruments. Other fund companies that recently encountered the same situation are: BofA's Columbia Funds, Janus, Legg Mason, and Wachovia's Evergreen Investments.
