Fund Track Picks Up Mandatory XBRL Proposal

In Thursday's Wall Street Journal Fund Track column, Judith Burns reported on the SEC's proposal on Wednesday to require mutual funds to label key data using XBRL tags. The public comment period runs through August 1 and a vote by the commission is expected in the fall.

Also covered in the Fund Track column are moves made by Nuveen Investments and Eaton Vance regarding auction-rate preferred shares.
