Globe Points Out Three 'Safe' Funds

Which funds will do well in a bear market ... and yes, we are now officially in one. The Boston Globe highlights three funds that may do well as stocks fall. The three on its list -- FPA Crescent, Oakmark Equity and Income, and T. Rowe Price Capital Appreciation -- are all asset allocation funds with a hefty weighting towards bonds and a taste for value in their stocks. Two of the funds are up for the year.
