Wednesday, September 24, 2008 Wachovia and Morgan Stanley Marriage No More Wachovia and Morgan Stanley have reportedly ended their merger talks. Reuters reports that the two companies have officially ended it following Morgan's stabilization by converting to a bank holding company and accepting an investment from Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group earlier this week. Morgan Stanley owns Morgan Stanley Investment Management and Van Kampen Investments. Wachovia owns Evergreen Investments.
