NEW YORK, Nov 14, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- WisdomTree (Pink Sheets: WSDT), an industry leading index developer and exchange-traded fund (ETF) sponsor, today announced the addition of Jarrett Lilien, former E*TRADE FINANCIAL Acting CEO, President and Chief Operating Officer, to the Company's Board of Directors.

Mr. Lilien joined E*TRADE FINANCIAL in August 1999 and became President and COO in March 2003. Mr. Lilien was named Acting CEO in November 2007 in order to develop and implement a comprehensive turnaround plan. Prior to these roles, Mr. Lilien served as Chief Brokerage Officer and President, E*TRADE Securities. Prior to joining E*TRADE, he co-founded TIR Holdings, a global institutional stock broker, for which he served 10 years as its Chief Executive Officer. TIR Holdings was acquired by E*TRADE in August 1999. Prior to TIR, he held various positions at Paine Webber and Autranet, a former division of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Inc.

Having orchestrated the execution of the broad turnaround campaign which has stabilized the company, Mr. Lilien left E*TRADE in March, 2008. He lives in Manhattan and serves as President of the Jazz Foundation of America, sits on the Board of Trustees at Baryshnikov Arts Center and is a Board Member of The Barton Group. About WisdomTree
