A Fundster Breaks Into a Top Ten List for Pay

Only one fundster made it into the Boston Globe's "10 highest-paid CEOs in Massachusetts" list. According to 2007 numbers the paper pulled from the AFL-CIO (the list appears to include only CEOs of publicly-traded companies), Affiliated Managers Group's Sean Healey ranks at No. 4, with annual compensation of $20.9 million last year. Considering how the economy and markets are faring this year, this might not be the best kind of publicity (though the list might look very different if it focused on 2008 compensation instead).

AMG units include the Brandywine Funds, the Managers Group, Third Avenue Management and Tweedy, Browne.

The only other financial services exec to crack the list is Ronald Logue, CEO of State Street Global Advisors' parent State Street Corp.. Logue came in at No. 2, with $27 million.
