Janus Makes an Institutional Hire


Janus Capital Group Institutional hired Todd Bitzer as vice president and team leader of corporate, foundations and endowments. Bitzer reports to senior vice president and managing director Dan Charles.

Bitzer is tasked with marketing INTECH, Janus and Perkins-managed strategies to corporations, foundations and endowmments in the Southeast.

Previously, he was a managing director at Systematic Financial Management. He earlier served as principal of business development with Turner Investment Partners and held sales roles at Renaissance Investment Management and Pimco Advisors.

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Janus Capital Group Inc. (NYSE: JNS - News) has appointed Todd Bitzer as vice president and team leader of Corporate, Foundations & Endowments with Janus Capital Group Institutional.

Bitzer is responsible for marketing INTECH, Janus and Perkins-managed strategies to corporations, foundations and endowments in the Southeast region of the U.S. He reports to Dan Charles, senior vice president and managing director of Janus Capital Group Institutional.

Bitzer joins Janus from Systematic Financial Management, LP where he served as managing director. Prior to that, Bitzer was a principal of Business Development with Turner Investment Partners from 1999-2001. He also served in various institutional sales positions with Renaissance Investment Management and PIMCO Advisors, LP. Bitzer holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Georgia.
