Monday, March 9, 2009 WSJ Warns of Higher Fund Fees as Assets Fall Fund firms may find themselves fielding queries from investors this morning on the impact of the market decline on break points and fees. In Monday's Wall Street Journal Fund Track, Ian Salisbury warns investors that fees could be inching up as assets decline in a bear market. Just how much impact break points may have had is not immediately clear, though. Citing Morningstar, Salisbury notes that mutual funds are still reporting their expense ratios for 2008 so the impact of break points could not be determined yet.
